LED display principle
The display main controller converts the computer display to the data and control signal format required to convert the card's signal into an LED display. The main controller obtains the brightness data of each color of each pixel from the computer display card, and then distributes it to several scanning boards, each of which is responsible for controlling several rows/columns on the LED display, and the LEDs on each row/column are displayed. The signals are serially transmitted through the display control units of the line in series, and each display control unit directly faces the LED display body. The display control unit is generally composed of a shift register latch with gray level control. The scanning switch receives the video signal of the main controller on the one hand, and transmits the data belonging to the current level to each of the display control units on the other hand, and also transmits the data that is not belonging to the current level to the scanning switch of the next cascade. Video signals and LED display data, in terms of space, time, order and other aspects, need to have a scanning board to coordinate.
