Four Misunderstandings When Buying LED Displays

Date: 2019-12-10

  • 1. Don't just look at the price when buying a large screen
Price may be an important factor that affects the sales of LED large screens. Although everyone understands the principle of penny and money, but when choosing LED display manufacturers, they will unconsciously move closer to low prices. The huge price difference causes customers to ignore quality. However, in actual use, it may come to mind that the price difference is actually the quality difference.

Second, the display "same model" is not necessarily "same product"
During the sales of LED large screens, I often encountered customers saying that the same type of display screen, why your price is so much more expensive than others. I am very surprised, because I quote to customers according to company channel prices. I discovered by chance that the so-called products of the same model are actually different. We take the P4LED display as an example. Generally speaking, when we say that the P4LED large screen refers to a pixel pitch of 4.0mm, there is a 4.81mm pitch on the market, which is a p4.81 display. Some salespeople use the blind-eye method, claiming to be a P4 full-color LED display. In this way, the gap in quotation will be more obvious, and many customers who do not understand still think that they have bought a good product at a low price.

Third, the technical specification parameter value is not as high as possible
Generally, when purchasing LED displays, customers will choose several manufacturers to evaluate and then decide on LED large screen suppliers. The two important items in the evaluation are price and technical parameters. In the case of similar prices, the technical parameters have become the winner. Many customers think that the higher the parameter value, the better the quality of the display. Is that actually the case? Let's take a simple example, which is also an indoor P4 full-color display, in terms of display brightness. Some manufacturers will write 2000cd / m2, and some manufacturers will write 1200cd / m2. Is that 2000 better than 1200? The answer is not necessarily, because the indoor LED screen brightness requirements are not high originally, generally between 800-1500. If the brightness is too high, it will be dazzling and affect the viewing. In terms of service life, if the brightness is too high, it is easy to overdraw the life of the display screen in advance. Therefore, the reasonable use of brightness is the positive solution, not the higher the better. The same model also needs some parameters, such as LED lamp brand / package, scanning method, power refresh rate, power consumption, gray scale, etc. The price will vary depending on the parameters.

Fourth, the display production and testing is not as short as possible
Many customers who buy full-color LED displays just want to get the goods immediately when they place an order. We understand this feeling, but the LED large screen is a customized product, which requires at least 48 hours of testing after the production is completed. The LED display is added to the national standard for 24 hours to reach 72 hours of uninterrupted testing. Generally, there are two problems with too short delivery time: First, without sufficient inspection and testing, the failure rate in later use will definitely be relatively high; but some manufacturers do not have enough stock in the same batch. Use products from different batches. In this case, the display screen will have obvious color difference, which greatly affects the LED large screen display effect.
