Scanning mode of Jinghui LED display and basic working principle

With the development of LED technology, the brightness of LED electronic display screens has also been continuously improved, and the distance between lamp beads has become smaller and denser, which indicates that more LED electronic display screens will enter the room. However, the increase in LED brightness and pixel density has brought new and higher requirements to the control and drive of LED screens. As for general indoor screens, the common control methods now use row and column control mode, which is commonly referred to as the scanning mode.At present, there are two types of driving modes for LED electronic displays: static scanning and dynamic scanning. For static real pixels and static virtual, dynamic scanning is also divided into dynamic real images and dynamic virtual.
In the LED electronic display, the ratio of the number of lines lit simultaneously to the number of lines in the entire area is called the scanning method. Scanning is divided into 1/2 scan, 1/4 scan, 1/8 scan, 1/16 scan and other driving methods. In other words, the driving mode of the display screen is different, so the settings of the receiving card are also different. If the receiving card was originally used on a 1/4 scan screen, now it is used on a static screen, then the display on the display screen will be brighter every 4 lines. Generally, the receiving card can be set. After connecting the sending card, display screen, computer and other major components, you can enter the relevant software on the computer to set it. So here we will first introduce the scanning mode and principle of LED electronic display.
LED electronic display scanning method:
1.Dynamic scanning
Dynamic scanning is the implementation of “point-to-column” control from the output of the driver IC to the pixels. Dynamic scanning requires a control circuit. The cost is lower than static scanning, but the display effect is poor and the brightness loss is large.
2.Static scanning
Static scanning implements "point-to-point" control from the output of the driver IC to the pixels. Static scanning does not require a control circuit, and the cost is higher than dynamic scanning. advantage.
LED electronic display 1/4 scan mode works:
It is 1/4 of the time that each line of power V1-V4 is turned on according to the control requirements in a frame of image. The advantage of this is that it can more effectively utilize the display characteristics of LEDs and reduce hardware costs. The disadvantage is that in one frame of image, each line of LED can only display 1/4 time.
Classification by LED electronic display type scanning method
1. Scanning method of indoor full-color LED electronic display: P4 and P5 are constant current 1/16, P6 and P7.62 are constant current 1/8.
2. The scanning method of outdoor full-color LED electronic display: P10, P12 are constant current 1/2, 1/4, P16, P20, P25 are static.
3. The scanning methods for single and double color LED electronic display screens are mainly constant current 1/4, constant current 1/8 scan, and constant current 1/16 scan.
