Small-pitch LED penetration increases, market continues to grow

Small-pitch LED market continues to grow
GGII research data shows that small-pitch products have become the main driving force for LED display growth. It is expected that the compound growth rate of China's small-pitch LED display market will reach 44% from 2018 to 2020.
IHS Markit analysts also said that small-pitch display products will explode in 2018 and 2019, shipments will double, and domestic brands occupy the highlands.
It can also be seen from the performance of the first half of the year that, apart from other businesses, the six listed LED screen companies have shown that their business revenues are relatively satisfactory. Five screen enterprises realized the growth of display business revenue, and the gross profit margins of the three screen enterprises rose simultaneously.
Point spacing down, penetration rate to "up"
With the maturity of new display technologies represented by Mini/Micro LEDs, as well as display industry competition and policy promotion, the development of small-pitch LED display industry has shown that the distance between points is constantly going down, market penetration is increasing, and overseas markets are gradually getting hot. The trend of 5G technology is gradually applied.
In terms of market penetration, small-pitch display products are continuously being applied in market segments such as emergency, security, municipal, conference, and medical. In terms of overseas markets, small-pitch display products are showing a gradual hot trend, with a large room for growth.
In terms of 5G applications, the newly introduced small-pitch and micro-pitch display screens focus on the integration of 5G technology. With the gradual application of 5G technology, the ultra-fine clear 64K display technology is further studied.
In addition to the above trends, companies with strong brand influence and comprehensive service capabilities will enjoy a higher brand premium and market share will be further concentrated to superior enterprises.
